Q: How has your overall experience with the program been, as a parent and as team member?
A: I found MHCC Head Start when my oldest was preschool age and our family needed child care. Once we were enrolled into the program it was easy to get engaged in all the opportunities that are offered for families and parents. The mission statement: “Increasing the success of children and families by building on strengths,” was shown to me as a value of everyone who’s involved in the program and something that I desired to be a part of. Now, while my children are aging out of the program, as a team member now employed by MHCC Head Start I can continue to bring the needed support and resources I received to our community and fellow parents.
